About
As a 4th generation native. my family roots in Apalachicola run deep and date back to the early 1900’s. I was born and raised here, and after graduating college and briefly living in other parts of the country, my late husband and I raised our family and opened a business here. Our area has changed in tremendous ways. I am happy to be settled in this coastal gem of a town where I grew up. I am a proud product of the local school system, and third-generation Florida A&M University alumni. I’ve also studied at Gulf Coast Community College and Troy State University.
My real estate experience started in 1995 when I started working with Helen as Comptroller for her company Prudential Resort Realty, then obtaining my real estate license in 1997. Over the last twenty-five years my professional experience has been in areas of accounting, finance and human relations, property management and banking. This experience gives me a great perspective on real estate from that view. I like numbers. I am happy to join this team as a full-time real estate sales agent on St. George Island. It’s safe to say, I’ve come full circle.
Other interests include singing, traveling, cooking and reading. Volunteering and service to others are in my DNA and I am very active in my church and community. I have served and continue to serve on numerous community service and civic boards or organizations.
My greatest joy is being the proud mother of one son, Tevin and daughter-in-law, Sarah with three adorable grandchildren Amos, Rowan, and Juni. When I’m not helping make your real estate dreams come true, you might find me catering or in the family food truck business.
